Release 1. This is the first release of this unit of competency in the TLI Transport and Logistics Training Package.
Application
This unit involves the skills and knowledge required to prepare for and transport a load while operating a car carrier vehicle. It includes preparing for a trip, loading car carrier vehicle, transporting load and unloading car carrier vehicle. Work must be carried out in accordance with relevant state/territory roads and traffic authority licence requirements and regulations for heavy vehicles. Work is performed with limited or minimum supervision, and with duty of care responsibility for self and others in achieving the prescribed outcomes. No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication. |
